We get a quick drawing of wavy lines for the water, a sun with radiating circles.
I do a quick review of the color wheel and discuss warm and cool colors.
Using Crayola Watercolor Pencils we color the sky with warm colors, water with cool colors.
Once it is all colored in, we use a small amount of water on a watercolor brush and paint over one color at a time. I always start with the yellow sun, so it doesn’t change color once the water gets dirty.
